A floating deck offers a cost-effective solution for covering various types of silos, essential for legal manure storage. This cover can be installed on both new and existing silos without exerting pressure on the silo walls. While economical, it requires regular maintenance, such as water removal. Available in all sizes and diameters, the deck is made from non-stretchable, reinforced PVC of 900 gr/m² and can incorporate mixing hatches for both mixing and emptying the silo. The deck boasts a 5-year warranty and 10-year KIWA approval. It can be assembled either inside or outside the silo, though interior installation requires the silo to be empty and clean. The exterior installation does not need the silo to be emptied, facilitated by a crane. The ideal and inexpensive cover for every type of silo! Legally, a manure storage system must be covered. A floating deck can be installed on (almost) any type of silo, both new and existing.

The biggest advantage of a floating deck is that no load is placed on the silo wall. A floating deck is cheap, but requires a little more attention and maintenance. For example, the water has to be pumped off.

The floating deck is available in all possible sizes and diameters and is therefore suitable for any type of silo.

The floating deck is made of reinforced (non-stretchable) PVC of 900 gr / m2. The hood can be placed perfectly on both new and existing silos.

The floating deck can be fitted with mixing hatches to allow the silo to be mixed and emptied (with the suction arm). The floating deck has a warranty period of 5 years and is approved for 10 years (after installation) in accordance with KIWA.

The foil is stretched around the fully glued PVC pressure pipe 160 mm by means of hammered rings behind a cord and stainless steel carabiner hooks with 25 mm band and stainless steel ratchets.
