The PFL flocculator is a tubular reactor where chemicals for coagulation, neutralization and flocculation are added to the wastewater under controlled circumstances. All particles in the wastewater are subjected to a completely equal mixing energy during a constant retention time. This results in a uniform flock with excellent separation characteristics.

The flocculator features dosing points and mixing pieces for chemical dosing of coagulation, neutralization and flocculation. Furthermore several sample valves and a pH measurement point are mounted. The aeration points on the flocculator can be used to optimize a flotation process.
