Fluidel - Cartridges for Gas Filtration

Characteristics:
For the choice of used in filter elements it`s necessary to consider the particular nature of particles, the size of the particles, risk of corrosion and specific operating conditions.
Basically there are two types of cartridges used in gas filtration and the choice depends on specific application and on filtration degree requested: coalescing cartridges and pleated cartridges.

Coalescing Cartridges
They are made in steel wire wound or in glass fiber of various densities, and are suitable for aerosols and mists, which are mainly of submicron dimension efficiency of 99,99% are achievable for particles size of 0,1 micron

Main applications are:

• Separation of liquids (Water/Hydrocarbons) from natural gas
• Oil mist elimination from compressed air
• Oil mist elimination in lubrication oil systems
• Oil mist elimination in textile industry
• Oil mist elimination in machine tools operation
• Oil mist elimination in the fried food and toasting processes
• Aerosol separation in plasticizer processed

Pleated cartridges
They can be made in various materials (St.St. Polyester, PP, PTF, etc..) and are suitable for separation of particles of size above micron.
