Fluidel - Cartridges Gas Filters

There are mainly two types of cartridge, the use of which depends on type of filtration and on the filtration degree required coalescing cartridge and pleated cartridges. The selection of fabrication material for cartridge depends on type of particles and their nature, dimensions of particles, possibility of corrosion and specific operating conditions.

The coalescing cartridges, made from steel wire mesh or glass fiber of various densities, are suitable for mists and aerosols separation, witch have mainly sub-Micronics particles and react efficiencies up to 99,99% with 0,1 micron particles. Some of the application are: -liquid separation (water/hydrocarbons) from natural gas-aerosols separation-oil mist separation from compressed air-oil mist separation in textile processes-oil mist separation in mechanical work-oil mist separation in frying food processes Plated Cartridges Pleated cartridge can be made in a wide variety of materials (st.st., polyester, polypropylene, PTF, etc..), and are suitable for separating particles with size above 3 micron.
