Are used horizontal cylindrical separators that use as coalescing element a vane coalescer or a mesh coalescer. If continuos phase is light the separator will have in the bottom a tank to separate the heavy phase; otherwise if continuos phase is heavy the separator will have in the top a tank to tap the light liquid.
For the separation of water from hydrocarbons we can reach filtration efficiency of 99,5% for drops higher than 50µm.
As material of construction usually is used Carbon Steel for the body and Stainless Steel for the coalescing pad, we can also use Stainless Steel or Special Alloys if required by Customer or depending of type of service.
Our equipment are design for an operating pressure up to 100 bar, in conformity with main international codes (ASME, DIN, PED).
