CVP - Model CVP-170 -Flushing Fluid
CVP-170 has been specifically designed to assist in the internal cleaning of particulate and sludge build-up due to process contamination in mechanical vacuum pumps. Its lighter viscosity helps free attached contamination from the internal parts, allowing it to be re-moved through the drain valve.

All types of mechanical vacuum pumps using hydrocarbon fluids.
Drain used fluid from pump while still hot from operation and refill with CVP-170 Flushing Fluid to proper oil level. Run pump blanked-off for approximately 30 minutes or until pump is hot. Drain pump completely (opening gas ballast and jogging pump in 10 second intervals will help remove remaining fluid). If flushing fluid is dark colored, repeat the procedure until the fluid drains light colored. Refill pump with proper CVP operating fluid.
