The screw sleeve is used as connecting piece to high-pressure hose 840 bars and a cutting-ring fitting or push-in connector. In order to connect a high-pressure hose 840 bars to a cutting-ring fitting or push-in connector, a screw sleeve is used together with a hose stud. Here, the screw sleeve is first screwed onto the high-pressure hose 840 bars. Then, the hose stud is fitted into the screw sleeve. The female thread of screw sleeve to be screwed onto the high-pressure hose is a left-hand thread in order to preclude any loosening of screw sleeve from high-pressure hose when mounting the hose stud. So, a sturdy, detachable and pressure-proof connection is obtained. This system enables the fitter of centralised lubrication systems to define the lengths of hose lines. These fittings have been conceived so that they can be mounted without special tools even outside a specialised workshop. Now, the end of hose stud can be fitted in a cutting-ring fitting or in a push-in fitting. Upon connection to a push-in connector, only one hose stud is used supporting this system. The relevant hose stud has then got a slot on the pipe to match the push-in connector. The hose stud is then pushed-in only for mounting. The screw sleeve can be delivered in sizes for high-pressure hoses of diameters 4.1 x 8.75 and 6.3 x 11.3 as well as in steel surface galvanised, steel black chromated and stainless steel VA 1.4571/316ti.
