Safe-Fire - Model W - Flame -Fully Integrated Optical Flame Detection System
The W-Flame is a fully integrated optical flame detection system that is ideal for monitoring single and multiple burner applications in the petrochemical, metallurgical, power generation, and Pulp & Paper industries. In the integral configuration, the detector and signal amplifier are combined into a single assembly, which simplifies installation and eliminates the need for a separate amplifier cabinet and costly specialized cables. This configuration also maintains signal integrity between the two modules.
Is a fully integrated optical flame detection system, that combines the scanner and amplifier into one assembly precisely detecting any coal, gas or oil burner flames, making it ideal for single and multiple burner applications.
The W-FLAME is able to accurately detect burner flames at various stages of startup and operation by utilizing Safe Fire’s advanced photo diode and signal processing system which looks at a combination of three flame characteristics to confirm status. A self check routine is built-in to ensure reliable performance. The complete detector assembly operates on 24VDC and can be pre-configured to specific burner applications which make it a truly plug and play device. The W-Flame is offered in IR or UV configurations.
