Galaxy -Â Closed Type Collapsible Fabric Tanks
Ekotank® produces a wide variety of collapsible fabric tanks also known as pillow bladders both for temporary and longterm liquid storage. Our latest product Galaxy® is produced out of a special PVC coated fabric. Thanks to new developments in technology, all Galaxy® products are flexible, foldable, strong and resistant to extreme weather conditions. Ekotank Galaxy® is certified for foodstuff and drinking water by local and international authorities. Raw material used to produce Galaxy® blocks the penetration of UV rays into the tank therefore creating a safe environment for the stored liquid and preventing the growth of bacteria, mold and algae. Presently polyester and polyethylene tanks are widely used all over the world but most of us are not aware of their shortcomings. These tanks are not healthy since they do not prevent the UV penetration to tank therefore moss and algae growth occurs in the water, which affects its quality creating a health hazard.
These types of tanks are not collapsible so they take a large space during the transport of wasting resources and increasing costs. A fiberglass or polyethylene tank can only be repaired by seeking a specialist. Ekotank Galaxy® is designed to overcome old technology shortcomings. Galaxy® can be easily folded when empty, transported to any destination and mounted in minutes. Provided repair kit can be used by anyone. Galaxy® is typically used in military, municipal operations, civil defense, disaster relief and emergency water supply, agricultural operations, construction sites and water distribution hubs and firefighting.
Capacities from 300 to 200.000 liters are available. These tanks are installed with little or no on-site preparation. Specialized materials are available for a variety of applications such as fuel storage.
