PROSENSE "PC3" Series detectors can reliably detect flammable-explosive and Toxic gases in industrial environments. Catalytic sensors employed for the flammable gas detection show excellent output linearity up to 100 %LEL for PC3 series. Optional P-2R relay card for explosive gases provides two-level selectable alarm relay outputs (Alarm1 and Alarm2) can be set to predefined LEL levels.

Optional P-3R relay card for toxic gases provides three-level selectable alarm relay (Alarm1 and Alarm2) and FAULT outputs. Alarm levels can be set to predefined values to connect detector conventional fire control panels or individually manage to siren or solenoid valves.

Sensor Head and cable gland in PC3 Series detectors are ATEX certified. PC3 series can be used as Category 3 device and in Zone 2 applications with specially designed IP65 Die Cast Aluminum Junction Box.
