PowerHV - Model SF6 -Gas-insulated AC Resonant Test System
SF6-Insulated Reactors have been developed for theuse in Resonant Test Systems with variable frequency for GIS on-site testing and are directly flanged to the GIS. They are also suited to increase the test power of conventional low-power SF6-insulated test transformers essentially by a high voltage-side parallel compensation of the capacitive reactive power. Furthermore they can be equippedwith a SF6-to-air bushing for testing air-insulated components or GIS via air bushings. The design of these resonant reactors is similar tothat of instrument transformers with a combined SF6-oil-insulation and a disk bushing. A capacitive divider for the voltage measurement is integrated in thepressure vessel.
Thesystem is used to do AC voltage test and PD measurement on electric apparatus, speciallyfor GIS combined apparatus, suitable for high voltage lab or site application, especially suitable for locations with limited space such as under-groundsubstations and hydropower stations.
Thesystem could be specially designed for metal enclosed type electric devicessuch as GIS combined apparatus, GIS VT, etc. Also could equipped output bushingfor combined apparatus, insulation products, circuit breakers, isolatingswitches, instrument transformers, capacitors, etc.
Resonance circuit is takenuse of to generate high voltage output.
- Low source power consumptiondue to high quality factor of reactor,
- low PD: metal enclosureisolated interference form outside, the system PD<3pC
- Easy transportation: thetotal height is less than 1.8mwhile transportation. It is able to go across bridges and tunnels.
- No need of connecting cables:since the exciter transformer, variable frequency power supply and reactorcombines to one modular. The connecting cables between are avoided.
- Low noise: using high qualitycore, with special seismic reduction structure, the reactor brings very lownoise less than 60dB in operation.
- Good insulation performance:insulated by SF6, with relatively high safety factor. The system runs reliablyand safe.
