AGROTEL - Gas-Tight Container Cover
The gas-tight biogas roof is available with one or two shells and combines a cover and storage function. The single-skin biogas roof consists of an outer membrane that is shaped by a centre support and braced against the outer wall of the tank. The double-shell biogas roof has an additional inner membrane, which takes over the integrated storage function.
Single-shell:
- Outer membrane that is brought into shape by a centre support
- Membrane is attached to the outer wall of steel or concrete tanks so that it is gas-tight all round
- Safety valves secure the cover against overpressure and underpressure on the gas side
Double-shell:
- Additional inner membrane assumes storage function
- Outer membrane is tensioned between centre mast and tank edge
- This even tensioning protects the membrane in the area of the tank edge.
The biaxial curvature of the roof surface prevents fluttering and pumping of the roof.
Additional safety through pressure and vacuum relief valves.
The unpressurised, mast-supported system ensures a blow-off pressure of up to 2 mbar.
For container covers, we use technical textiles that are UV-resistant, weatherproof, gas-resistant and anti-mould treated.
All metal components such as the centre support, screw fittings and fastening technology are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
Our technical textiles are flame-retardant (B1) and non-dripping.
Our high-tech membranes are selected according to static and operational requirements.
