Gastight Silo Cover
A gastight silo roof is a cover for a silo, which is made completely gastight, virtually emission-free and also suitable as an after fermentation unit. This silo roof offers the solution for the cover obligation that applies in many European countries. Depending on your wishes, the silo cover can be fitted gastight on the inside or on top of the silo edge. This choice has an effect on the extent to which maintenance can be carried out on the cover and the silo. The Flexxocover gastight has been designed to ensure a maximum lifespan in all circumstances and is therefore extremly durable for our customers. We make this possible by choosing the best materials, by using tested components and by certified production and assembly. Ask our sales experts for more information! - Available in diameters from ø2 to ø54 meters.
- Delivery always includes a centre column, tensioning system and inspection opening.
- Standard foil: polyester fabric with 2-sided PVC; 4,000 N/5 cm (900 g/m²). Stronger foil possible if desired or needed.
- In gastight version, standard operating pressures from -0.5 to +4.5 mbar. Higher pressures possible on request.
- Centre columns minimum FSC tropical hardwood type D60. Stainless steel-316 columns available on request.
- The designs of our covers are approved in all European countries.
- The entire construction is designed to be used in all snow and wind zones in Europe, even at larger diameters.
- The gastight execution is available with a gas seal on the inside of the silo or, if desired, on top of the silo wall. When mounting on top of the silo wall, it is also possible to open the silo during stops in operation.
