AB Valves - Model Socket Types -Gate Valves, Soft Sealing
Mirab produces socket type gate valves for casted pipes, for PVC pipes, and for PVC pipes with clamps. They are used for closing and opening fluid flow. The gate valves, soft sealing type, can be used for fluids up to 70°C such as potable water and untreated water, as well as compressed air per Certificate DVGW-G260 (Other media on request). Application fields are water supplies, dams, water treatment, pumping stations, pipe lines, industries, power plants, waste water and irrigation.
Body material consists of cast iron (GGG) and wedge is fully covered by NBR or EPDM. Spindle material is stainless steel. valve is designed such a way that provide safe sealing. By turning the stem clockwise, with the elastic design of the sealing wedge gives absolute tightness with minimum torque.
