CreelModel DE RAN -Gear Drive for Propellers and Pumps

SHARE

The DE’RAN gear drive is fan-cooled and solves many problems associated with other water cooled systems. Designed to drive low-speed propellers and mixed flow pumps, the non-reverse sprag operates at all speeds. This cancels out problems affiliated with non-reverse pin type and slow vertical shaft speeds, making the DE’RAN the right-angle gear drive of choice. Gear drives may be adapted to operate at inclined or slanted positions up to 70 degrees, providing a more sensible design to pump water from lakes, rivers, and the ocean.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION SHOULD BE SUPPLIED WHEN ORDERING GEAR DRIVES:

Series Number, Ratio (input to output speed), Thrust Requirements, Rotation, Horsepower Requirements, Pump Head Shaft Size. (We define the ratio as the ratio of the horizontal input RPM to the vertical output RPM.) EXAMPLE: A 2:3 ratio gear drive operating at 1760 RPM output would have 1173 RPM input. ROTATION: Shown below are four possible rotations. Number 1 is considered standard. Numbers 2, 3 and 4 are special rotations and are manufactured when specifically requested.
