Soeks - Model Quantum -Geiger Counter/ Dosimeter/ Radiation Detector
Radiation measurement: Like the other Geiger counters in the SOEKS range, the Quantum is used to identify potential radioactive contamination in food products, water, construction materials, as well as your local environment. However, this model is for professional usage. As such, it combines twin Geiger-Muller sensor tubes for extreme accuracy of measurement. It is literally twice as sensitive as any of our other models. When evaluating foodstuffs, it can accurately analyse radiation through shrink-wrapped packaging which means removal of the wrapping is not necessary. The SOEKS Quantum estimates background radiation by the magnitude of ionizing radiation (gamma and beta-particle flux) based X-ray radiation.

As a result of measurement you will see the exact amount of indicated background radiation level in mSv/h or mR/h together with a message confirming the level of safety in the background radiation revealed:
GREEN - Normal Background Radiation
AMBER - High Background Radiation
RED - Dangerous Background Radiation
Most radiation detectors display the range of exposure from 5 to 1000 mR/h. Thanks to their state of the art modern Geiger-Muller sensors, the SOEKS range is from 0.5 to 100 000 mR/h.
