Mazur - Model PRM-X000 -Geiger Counter Protective Jacket
Ballistic Nylon, Foam-Lined Protective Jacket for the PRM-9000/8000/7000. Now included with all PRM-X000 Geiger Counters. The PRM-x000 protective jacket is excellent for protecting your PRM-X000 Geiger counter from drops, scuffs and harsh field environments. Made of tough, foam-lined, lightweight ballistic nylon, the jacket is designed to cover as much of the instrument as possible while allowing easy access and visibility to the keypad and display.
A reinforced back door door protects the pancake GM tube and can be easily opened to support alpha detection of the PRM-9000. The top flap protects the end window tube of the PRM-8000 and can be opened to support alpha detection. The back door and top flap can remain closed when using the jacket with the gamma/beta detecting PRM-7000 to provide optimum protection.
Field Ready
The PRM-x000 protective jacket includes a D-ring and strap (strap not shown) that enables easy attachment to a belt or carabiner for field use.
