Geofoam is a lightweight, compressible material made from expanded polystyrene (EPS), used in civil engineering applications to reduce soil pressure and manage settlement. Its high strength-to-weight ratio makes it ideal for fill applications in areas with poor soil conditions, as well as for slope stabilization and lightweight embankments.
