From Other Systems
AQUALERT is a Water Quality Monitoring System, specifically designed for the Measurement, Data Recording and Alarm Transmission in real time, which allows the continuous surveillance of all water quality parameters (physicochemical, biochemical, hydrocarbons) in surface or underground waters, as well as the measurement of water level in dams, rivers, channels, wells and aquifers.
A set or limited combination of water quality sensors to choose among the following parameters:
- Dissolved Oxygen
- Blue-Green Algae
- SAC 254
- PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons)
- BTX aromatic hydrocarbons (Benzene, Toluene and Xylenes)
- Crude Oils
- Refined Fuels
- Other: consult
AQUALERT System consists of one or more Remote Automatic Hydrological Stations Model HYDRODATA-2000/3000 including all the suitable sensors necessary for the measurement of the required parameters in each particular application. Recorded Data are automatically transmitted to a Central Receiving Station, with GEONICA Suite software, via GSM/GPRS cellular networks, by point to point radio link, via satellite (INMARSAT), and information can be publised on INTERNET (WEB Posting) by WEBTRANS platform, in such a way to make all data available universally to all authorized users.
In case any of the measured parameters exceed the previously programmed threshold, the HYDRODATA Unit will generate automatically SMS alert messages or will send emails, advising about the alert status of one or more parameters.
In AQUALERT System data are normally via GPRS-IP or a Satellite (INMARSAT) to Central Station and to the WEBTRANS platform offered by GEONICA to their customers for data availability in Internet.
