Taian-Eastar - Model GTL -Geosynthetic Clay Liner Laminated with HDPE Geomembrane
GTL is a reinforced GCL consisting of a layer of sodium Bentonite between a woven and a non-woven geotextile which are needle-punched together, than with a flexible HDPE membrane liner laminated to nonwoven geotextile by glue.

GTL provides excellent hydraulic performance and has puncture and tensile strengths beyond conventional plastic membranes.
GTL is widely used in decorative lakes, garden ponds, wetlands, reed beds, lagoons, swimming ponds, Aquaponics & fisheries, as well as on more industrial applications such as in canal lining and river & stream diversions. Because it does not require specialised welding equipment or labour, GTL can be installed with minimal instruction or supervision & at a cost, despite its benefits, comparable to regular liners.
