Binder+Co - Glass Sorting Plants
Over four hundred glass-sorting plants more or less the whole world over speaks for itself! We were the first in China, Australia, South America and Japan, not to mention a number of European countries. From the beginning our strategy aimed at not only building the best machinery for processing waste glass, but also to combine these machines with each other in optimum processes. And achieving customer-specific demands has highest priority: both technologically and economically! The innovative strength of Binder+Co AG manifests not only in optical sorting machinery but also in particular in the constant optimisation of process-engineering concepts and the development and improvement of mechanical process parts.
Multiple processing technologies in one glass sorting plant
One core competency of our company – screening technology – has had a positive effect on our glass processing. We are the absolute specialists in protective comminution processes. Our double roll crushers reduce cullet to the right size, while hardly producing any dust!
Highly specialised components for your glass sorting plant
Contamination by organic material in waste glass is a big challenge in modern plant concepts. ORKA and Breezer are machines which have been developed by Binder+Co to remove organic material from material streams. However, organic materials can attach themselves to glass. This problem is solved by the patented label remover, a dry-wash system in which pieces of cullet abrade or rub off the sticky labels from each other.
Binder+Co AG has been involved in building vibrating fluid-bed dryers for many years. Experience of processing mineral has helped us immensely in our plant concepts. Dryers have become integral components of modern glass-processing plants.
The combination of all these mechanical parts enable an optimum conditioning of material for optical processing. Only by means of them can CLARITY and COMPACT bring their full powers to bear!
Highest quality standards: glass sorting plants by Binder+Co
And whether the required quality is achieved, is a question we are happy to demonstrate. An integrated quality system can be provided for each plant. Automatic sampling takes small representative quantities from the material stream and examines them for contamination or colour composition. In this way the performance of your plant is set down in writing....
