GoldStar - Model PK-0064-02 -PCR Mix Kit
The GoldStar® Mix kit contains all PCR reaction componants except the primers and the template. It is a ready-to-use formulation at 2x concentration. The kit contains sufficient reagents for 200 PCR reactions of 50 µl and an additional tube of MgCl2 to adjust the concentration if required. Sample contains enough reagents for 40 reactions.

An easy-to-use solution:
- 2x MasterMix containing Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl2, buffer
- Extra tube of 25 mM MgCl2
- Just add primers and DNA
Improved assay reproducibility:
By handling watery solutions instead of pipetting 50 % glycerol Taq DNA polymerase solution, pipetting mistakes will be avoided and more reproducible results will be achieved.

Minimum risk of contamination by minimizing pipetting steps.
Quality Control Each lot is tested for activity in PCR and a specific PCR product will be amplified after 35 cycles. 10 % of the PCR products are visualized on a 1.5 % agarose gel. The PCR is performed in duplex, using serial dilutions of 100 ng, 10 ng, 0.1 ng DNA per 50 µl PCR.

- Storage Conditions: GoldStar® Mix can be stored at -20 °C (in a constant temperature freezer) for 24 months or at 4 °C for 3months. Do not repeat more than 10 freeze/thaw cycles.
