Gradeall - Model G90 -Compactor

The G90 uses a single yet extremely durable centrally mounted ram, to push the compacting head to compact waste materials into the container. The benefit of the single ram is simplicity and exceptional compaction force being developed exactly where needed.

As with all Static compactors in the range a wide selection of optional extras are available; both from a stock collection of existing options, also on offer is bespoke custom designed add-ons to suit customer requirement. These include deck-loading systems incorporating handrails to integrate with an existing site structure, hoppers, chute feed systems, dual purpose manual and bin lift hoppers, and unique control systems.

All Gradeall compactors are designed to work with CHEM complaint containers, either supplied by another manufacturer, or using Gradeall produced CHEM compliant Containers available in sizes ranging from 15 to 30 cubic yard capacity.

Available G90 Options

The G90 is available with the multitude of options available on all Gradeall Static Compactors, below a small selection of different options as specified for use on the G90 Compactor. In addition to large items such as bin lifts and hoppers, a range of other options are available such as SMS Monitoring, Keypad Code Entry Systems, and software configurations are available to get the static compactor to deliver the best solution for its application. The options shown below are also available across the entire static range.

Sliding Door Hopper

A useful security feature which allows the compactor to be fully closed preventing entry of all objects into the loading area making it ideal for use in council applications, the sliding door moves smoothly thanks to Nylon rollers and has latching clasps to hold it in the open and closed positions with the closed position being lockable. Magnetic switches are also fitted for maximum safety ensuring that the compactor will not start working until the door has been closed, below shows some pictures of the Sliding Door Hopper attached to the G90, a variety of colours are available upon customer request.

Open Top Hopper

The Open Topped hopper is suitable for applications where large bulky waste needs to be entered into the compactor with minimum obstruction, particularly popular in applications where items of furniture may need to be compacted, the open top hopper caters for safety with a double emergency stop setup which means that the machine stops instantly when either button is pressed. The Pictures below show an open top hopper installed on a council amenity site, the modular hopper design allows the same hopper to be turned around so that it can permit Left or Right hand sided loading.

Bin Lifts

The full ranges of bin lifts are available for the G90 (See Bin Lift Range). After discussions with Gradeall’s sales team us they will be able to suggest the most suitable hopper and safety cage to accompany the Bin Lift. This is to ensure the best use of available space, maximise safety and make the bin lift as easy to use as possible. Below shows examples of bin lifts fitted to the G90 compactor.

Trunnion Bin Lift

A G90 Fitted with a Trunnion Lift (Lifts the Bin by the side mounted Trunnions) along with the associated safety cage and hopper:

Combination Bin Lift

A bin lift very similar in dimensions and operation to the Trunnion Lift, combining both the Trunnion Lift Function, with a comb lift to also lift smaller bins using the clamping comb arrangement:

Deck Loading Hoppers

Hoppers Designed for use in Council Applications; with Checkered Walkways, Side Fence and Hand Rails, and a Hopper with half split door for easy deck loading of waste materials. Includes relocated controls for ease of use, and magnetic safety interlock switches for increased levels of safety. Below shows a typical council deck loading arrangement; with a pair of G90s placed beside each other with a fully assembled checker floored deck walkway joining both machines, incorporating a deck loading household bin lift:

Gradeall Deck Loading Systems are available with Checker Plate floors, or alternativley with a dense anti slip Paint for improved grip in wet conditions to prevent any Operators slipping while loading material into the Machines:
