Gasera - Model ONE GHG -Greenhouse Gas Analyzer
Gasera one ghg greenouse gas analyzer offers reliable and simultaneous analysis of CH4 (Methane) and N2O (Nitrous Oxide) in ambient air. Many chemical compounds are present in Earth’s atmosphere and are capable of acting as greenhouse gases capable of absorbing and emitting infrared radiation emitted by Earth. Many of the gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and water vapor among others, occur naturally in the atmosphere and also have anthropogenic (man-made) sources. Methane (CH4) is the second most important greenhouse gas in terms of concentration and impact on the climate. Nitrous oxide (N2O) is also very potent greenhouse gas and a major scavenger of ozone. N2O is the third most important long-lived greenhouse gas and has a number of recognised ill effects on our health.
GASERA ONE GHG greenhouse gas analyzer is based on combining ultra sensitive cantilever enhanced photoacoustic detection technology with quantum cascade laser source operating at a Mid-IR fundamental spectral absorption line of greenhouse gases methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O).
This combination provides very high sensitivity (parts per billion level!) to reliably measure ambient background levels of greenhouse gases methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). It also gives an exceptionally high level of stability with a recommended re-calibration period of 12 months, and thus it offers a low total cost of ownership.
- Parts per billion level detection limit
- Easy to use
- Drift-free operation
UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE
Photoacoustic infrared spectroscopy engine with a patented ultra-sensitive cantilever sensor enables sub-ppb detection limits.
RELIABLE MEASUREMENT OF AMBIENT BACKGROUND LEVELS
Based on combination of Tunable Diode Laser source with patented photoacoustic detection.
SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF CH4 AND N20 GREENHOUSE GASES
Methane and nitrous oxide are both very potent greenhouse gases having a huge impact on global warming. Both are emitted into the atmosphere as a result of human activity such as agricultural and livestock practices, petrochemical industry, traffic and combustion of fossile fuels. Combination with MPS-12 Multipoint Sampler allows investigations of soil chambers.
