OKO-2 GPR with control processing unit includes:

  • Control processing unit
  • Power supply unit BP 9/12
  • Charger ZU-9
  • Handle-rod (transportation handle or telescopic handle rod - it depends on antenna unit)
  • Software GeoScan32

The Control processing unit OKO-3 is a lightweight, portable, two-channel microprocessor control unit, designed for managing all of a ground penetrating radar’s operating modes. It displays all GPR profiles, saving them on a Flash-disc, GPR survey results’ processing and data exchange with personal computer via USB interface, and can be connected to one or two antenna units.

The CPU OKO-3 is specially designed for usage in adverse weather conditions and can be used in all climatic conditions (operating efficiency is guaranteed in temperatures ranging from -20°? to +50°?).

FEATURES OF THE CONTROL PROCESSING UNIT OKO-3:

  • The CPU OKO-3 is specially designed for usage in adverse weather conditions and can be used in all climatic conditions (operating efficiency is guaranteed in temperatures ranging from -20°? to +50°?).
  • Data are displayed on LCD with a window width of 10,4’’ and a resolution of 1024x768. The screen allows one to view data in real time or in playback mode. It is readable in bright sunlight, although an optional sunshade for the unit is available. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause the screen to heat up and may affect screen visibility.
  • The CPU OKO-3 operation has been simplified for maximum effectiveness. A touch screen allows one to easily select parameters and modes, while the power switch-on function and cursor are effortlessly performed with the help of moisture-protected buttons located on the front bar.
  • Obtained data are saved on an integrated SSD-disc with a capacity of 60,0 GB.
  • The CPU OKO-3 can be charged from a 10.8 V Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery with a 12 A/h capacity, mounted into the housing. Power input is not more than 4 W. Survey time with a fully charged batteries is not less than 8 hours. Batteries are charged with an available battery charger.
  • It takes approximately 4-5 hours to recharge the battery. (Be sure to keep the battery slot cover on the unit while it is used to ensure that no dust or dirt enters the unit’s interior.)

GPR OKO-3 Antenna Units

Antennas covers frequencies from 100 MHz for deep geological surveying to up to 2500 MHz for high-resolution investigations. Using low-frequency antennas, one can increase the depth of sounding. If high resolution scanning of the near surface section is required, though, it is advisable to use high-frequency antennas. A combination of antennas with different frequencies yields best results.

MULTIPLE LOW FREQUENCY ANTENNA: 15 MHz, 25 MHz, 35MHz, 50MHz, 100 MHz

We can customize our low frequency antennas by customer`s demand.
High frequency antennas (such as 1600MHz, 2600MHz, 2800MHz, 3000MHz) can be customized by customer`s demand.

All of these antennas are interchangeable, compatible with the control unit or control processing unit, with a variety of different applications.
The CPU of GPR OKO-3 is compatible with all OKO-3 antennas.

  • High-speed control unit
  • High accuracy of GPR data
  • Number of Samples per Scan – 256,512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384
  • Comparative with all OKO-3 antennas
  • Rugged weather resistant
