• Custom manufactured tanks up to 40,000 gallons

• Designed for storage of Asphalt Cement (AC) liquid maintained between 100° and 400° F used in asphalt production

• Available tank heating systems include thermal fluid, steam, electric and direct fired kits

• Tanks are insulated at the Hamilton Tanks production facility prior to shipment

• Built to UL & API Construction Codes as required

Tank Insulation

• Mineral Wool FSK Tank Wrap Insulation – thicknesses from 3” to 9”

• Foamglass at the bottom of the tank to prevent water wicking

• .032 Aluminum embossed weather protection – painted aluminum available

• Shipping Saddles to protect insulation when shipped

• All nozzles neatly trimmed and labeled for safety

Level Management System

• Mechanical Float Type Level Gauge with Scoreboard

• Radar Level Transmitters with Remote Readout

• Pressure Transmitter with Local and Remote Readout

• PLC Based Level Management systems with Touch Screen Controls also available

Tank Mixers

• Top-mounted mixer blade assembly is located just above the heating system

• Mixer Controls include motor starter, dedicated mixer temperature controller, thermocouple, operators and status lights in a NEMA 4X enclosure

• Entire mixer assembly is mechanically installed in the tank and pre-wired in conduit prior to shipping

• Side Mount Mixers also available

Sample Valves

• 1” screw and plunger type valve provides a controllable and steady flow of liquid for safe sampling.

Hot Oil Control Valve and Temperature Controls

• A 2” 2-way (or optional 3-way) electrically actuated stainless steel ball valve is provided to control the flow of hot oil into the tank heating coil.

• Digital Temperature Controls are provided to set the desired tank maintenance temperature.
