CheckerHC - Model HI 727 -Handheld Colorimeter - Color of Water
The HI727 Checker HC (Handheld Colorimeter) provides a simple, accurate and cost effective way to measure the color of water. Used in drinking water and wastewater, the color of water may indicate the presence of undesirable and potentially harmful material, such as organic matter. Other harmless constituents of water such as tannins, iron and manganese, may also be present and impart color. The HI727 reports color of water from 0-500 PCU (Platinum Cobalt Units).
The Hanna Color of Water Checker® is an affordable alternative to professional instrumentation for measuring the color of drinking water. The Hanna Color of Water Checker® uses a fixed wavelength LED and silicon photo detector to provide similar accuracy of professional instrumentation.
