A lightweight, portable device, the ISCAN operates as a handheld explosives and narcotics detector through two modes: swabbing for trace detection of narcotics and explosives across surfaces, fingers, hands, and clothing, and sniffing for airborne vapors and chemicals around suspicious objects.
