P. Henke UN-BOXX - Hazardous Waste Collection Container
The UN-BOXX is a modern solution for the collection and transport of hazardous waste, designed to prioritize safety and efficiency. Comprising of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it possesses a robust and durable construction with a corrosion-resistant steel axle, ensuring long-term reliability. Its leak-proof, airtight, and light-proof design, combined with a patented lid and secure sealing system, guarantees safe handling of hazardous materials, such as paint residues and flammable substances. UN-approved and ADR-compliant, the container is capable of stacking and features quick wheel changes for enhanced mobility and space-saving storage. It is also available in a permanently antistatic version, suitable for environments where sudden discharges must be avoided. This container meets rigorous safety standards and minimizes both environmental impact and health risks to personnel, making it a prudent choice for waste management operations.
Application and demand-orientated products are our focus – customer satisfaction and maximum benefit are our mission. We offer maximum safety and convenience for the collection and transport of hazardous solid goods with our UN-BOXX® hazardous waste containers. Our UN-BOXX® stands out for its easy handling, mobility, ergonomic design, and safety, especially when comparing it to conventional drums. Our UN-BOXX® hazardous waste container with patented lid and secure sealing system is approved for transporting of paint residues, used cleaning rags, flammable or environmentally hazardous substances in accordance with ADR. It meets all requirements to solid hazardous substances, hazard levels and UN classifications. All currently applicable regulations must be observed on top of this. The quick wheel change makes it possible to stack these containers without any issues. They are also available in a permanently antistatic version for safe use in buildings.
- The UN-BOXX® is easy and safe to handle and transport in an upright, healthy posture thanks to its low weight and large wheels with solid rubber tyres.
- Our hazardous waste containers meet all required safety standards, giving consumers a high level of confidence in the safe storage and transport of hazardous substances. This does not exempt the user from checking all currently applicable provisions.
- The UN-BOXX® is particularly leak-proof, airtight, and light-proof. It is suitable for collecting various hazard levels and classifications inside and outside buildings.
- All UN-BOXX collection containers are UN-approved for collection and storage of hazardous waste in packaging groups I (X), II (Y), and III (Z). They are authorised for transport in accordance with ADR.
- Our spherical base and simple wheel change permit residue-free emptying and space-saving stacking after emptying. Our tried-and-tested sealing system makes the UN-BOXX® particularly leak-proof.
- The robust HDPE construction and the corrosion-resistant tempered steel axle reduce the maintenance demand for these containers and make them reliable, long-term solutions.
- Our hazardous waste containers permit safe and environmentally friendly collection and storage of hazardous substances and minimise environmental pollution and damage to natural ecosystems.
- Our antistatic version (UN-BOXX®+) helps minimise the risk of sudden discharges. It is particularly suitable for use in sensitive environments, preventing damage to sensitive electronic equipment and potential environmental impact.
- Our hazardous waste containers are application-orientated, manufactured to a high standard, leak-proof, and airtight. They minimise impacts on the environment and on employee health.
- Our specially designed hazardous waste containers offer efficient and safe transport and storage solutions that reduce energy consumption and thus lower emissions.
- Our hazardous waste containers are robust and durable, which reduces the need for raw materials for the production of new containers.
The special features of our UN-BOXX® .
Antistatic.
Our UN-BOXX®+ is available as a permanently antistatic version with a surface resistance of 10 to the power of 9 to minimise the risk of sudden discharge, in particular for use in buildings
Area of application.
UN-BOXX® has a wide range of applications and can be used, among other things, for collection of materials (paint residues, waste, etc.), used cleaning rags, granulates and oil and chemical binders from workshop waste disposal.
UN-approved.
UN-BOXX® containers are UN-certified and approved for a number of UN classifications, e.g. for UN 3088 and UN 3175. Some absorbent materials and tightly sealed bags are required as additional equipment. UN-BOXX® is also approved for transport in accordance with ADR. UN approval no: 1H2W/X…/S../../…/TGM-…. The relevant regulations must be observed.
Sealing system.
Our UN-BOXX® hazardous waste collection and transport containers are particularly leak-proof, opaque, and airtight. This is ensured by a proven sealing system and our patented lid with snap lock for particularly easy handling.
Stability.
HDPE (high-molecular low-pressure polyethylene) makes the UN-BOXX® robust and durable and gives it an extremely corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant axle made of tempered and galvanised steel
Optimised for transport.
The UN-BOXX® can be stacked in 2 layers. A low tare weight, optimised centre of gravity, and large wheels with solid rubber tyres also offer easy handling and manoeuvrability both empty and full.
