The Thermtest Heat Flow Meter Apparatus is a measuring instrument for determining steady-state heat transfer properties, thermal conductivity, and thermal resistance of flat slab specimens in accordance with EN 12667, ISO 8301, and ASTM C518 standards. The Thermtest Heat Flow Meter can be operated in stand-alone or PC controlled configuration. The HFM is designed as a single-specimen symmetrical system with two heat flux transducers and an electrical cooling and heating system for surface temperature control. The temperature controlled measurement chamber maintains a mean sample temperature and prevents moisture buildup.
