The SS-316 double roller bearing units are engineered for demanding applications in corrosive environments due to their type 316 stainless steel construction, which offers enhanced protection against rust and chemical damage, including seawater. These bearings incorporate self-aligning double row ball bearings, significantly increasing load capacity by up to five times. The housing is designed for harsh conditions and can accommodate single or double row spherical roller bearings. The units also employ a perfect concentric fit on shafts using an adapter sleeve, reducing risks of shaft cocking found in setscrew mountings. These bearings ensure a high radial load capacity and use an extra barrier to prevent contamination, coming pre-sealed and greased for a prolonged lifespan. They include a tensioner stud for improved axial load handling and are adaptable for additional support with optional EXV thrust bearing units for extreme axial force requirements.
