KATANA -YILDIZ - Model OPT. CHOPPER -Heavy-duty Primary Shredder

The YILDIZ - KATANA Optimus Choppers are heavy-duty primary shredders designed as first step in any recycling process. Low speed and high torque make the Optimus Choppers the ideal primary shredders for processing tough materials. They are powered directly by reducer gear or a hydraulic motor and power unit with PLC control panel, both ensuring automatic reverse for overload protection and minimizing knife damages. Adjustable knife clearance optimizes cutting function, and the knives can be reground multiple times on a “flat-bed” grinder to ensure long life and low operation costs. The unique rotor is manufactured and designed for minimum wear. The Oprtimus Choppers are currently available as single shaft version depending on the needed capacity and cutting force.
