The drum is mounted on two forged steel tires and rotates via a drive system comprising V-belts and a motor connected through a gearbox. The assembly is supported by steel roller configurations to ensure stability, with thrust rollers controlling lateral movement. The drum's internal setup is designed for separation efficiency, as denser particles are transported to the sinks launder while lighter ones overflow for media recovery. All components, including flexible and rigid skirts and pipework, are supported by horizontal beams, allowing for precise control of media density within the drum for continuous operation.
