The Typhoon MK2 150 is a heavy work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) equipped with a 150 horsepower hydraulic power unit (HPU) and capable of operating up to a depth of 3000 meters seawater (msw). This ROV features a through-frame lift capacity of 2700 kg, which can be upgraded to 4500 kg, and is designed with two manipulators on extendable TMT Z Extensions. Its control system includes distributed node control for automated heading and station hold, dual redundant control, and modem interface for enhanced reliability. The Typhoon MK2 150 is compatible with the Perry Type 5a Tether Management System (TMS), with other TMS models available as options. The system is also equipped with a CDL TOGSNAV system that includes a depth sensor, Doppler Velocity Log (DVL), north-seeking gyro compass, and a temperature sensor.
