Typhoon - Model MK2 -Heavy Work Class ROV
The Typhoon MK2 is a 100HP heavy work class ROV built for demanding underwater tasks with a depth rating of 2000 meters sea water. It features a hydraulic power unit (HPU) providing 100 horsepower, along with a through-frame lift capacity of 3500 kg. The system includes two manipulators mounted on extendable TMT Z extensions, enhancing its operational versatility. A built-in accumulator serves as a fail-safe for the HPU, ensuring the ROV can finish tooling operations and secure its arms in case of hydraulic power loss. The Typhoon MK2 is specifically designed to accommodate the Perry Type 1 Tether Management System (TMS), with compatibility for other TMS models upon request.
