The HEX20 12U CubeSat Bus is engineered for highly challenging missions, featuring cutting-edge subsystems and instruments. It offers 8-12 units of payload space, essential power, high-speed data links, and comprehensive attitude and trajectory control. This platform is tailored for operations needing multiple large payloads, high power demands, and high LEO orbits. It is suited for high-accuracy earth observation, high-throughput communications, deep space, and defense missions. The satellite subsystems are designed to eliminate single points of failure, ensuring reliability and redundancy. Structural dimensions are 20x20x30 cm, with a structural mass of 6 kg. It is equipped with a SmartFusion2 and Xilinx Trenz Dual Cortex-A9 SOM for OBC. The communication options include UHF, S-band, and X-Band, offering data rates from 9600 bps to 100 Mbps. It provides an average payload power between 30-100 W. Pointing accuracy is 30 arc seconds over three axes. Interfaces available are I2C, UART, RS232, RS422, SPI, LVDS, and CAN, with payload mass up to 10 kg and customizable power buses ranging from 3.3V to 15V.
