The HEX20 6U CubeSat Bus offers a high-performance, high Technology Readiness Level (TRL) platform for various commercial and scientific missions, including signals intelligence, geospatial intelligence, air traffic monitoring, earth observation and space science. The 6U spacecraft bus is designed with advanced CubeSat pointing and data downlink capabilities, ensuring optimal satellite orbital life while reducing maintenance costs.Structural dimensions are 10x20x30 cm, with a mass of 3 kg. Equipped with SmartFusion2 and Xilinx Trenz Dual Cortex-A9 SOM for onboard computing, the bus supports multiple communication bands such as UHF, X-Band, and optional S-Band, and is CCSDS compliant. It provides an average payload power of 30-80W, depending on the configuration. Telemetry data rates range from 19.2 kbps (UHF at 9.3 kbps, S-band at 1-5 Mbps, and X-band at 15-100 Mbps). High-precision pointing capabilities are at 30 arc seconds across three axes. Interface options include I2C, UART, RS 232, RS422, SPI, LVDS, CAN. Payload mass capacity ranges from 4-7 kg, and available power buses include 3.3 V, 5 V, customizable 6-15 V, and battery raw.
