In 2001

Coal washing plant established

The company built its own coal washing plant, integrating coal mining and briquette processing operations to ensure the quality and stability of activated carbon from the raw material side. The raw material was also sold to other activated carbon plants.

In 2005

Plant 1 commissioned

Ningxia Activated Carbon WDK Factory No.1 was completed and put into operation. Initially equipped with two carbonization lines and five activation furnaces, it focused on the production of primary coal-based columnar activated carbon.

In 2009

Business expansion

The company expanded its business areas, promoting deep processing of coal products. It also upgraded its activated carbon production lines, adding production capacity for impregnation and catalyst-supported activated carbon, and established a professional technical team.

In 2014

Production line upgrade

Factory No.1 fully improved its impregnation and catalyst-supported activated carbon production lines.

In 2015

Independent marketing

The company established its own sales team, breaking the current situation where most domestic manufacturers lacked their own marketing teams.

The company also initiated in-depth research and development and utilization of activated carbon, achieving scaled-up production of various catalyst-supported activated carbons.

In 2016

Plant 2 commissioned

Ningxia Activated Carbon WDK Factory No.2 was completed and put into operation.

Located just 2 kilometers from Factory No.1, it is twice the size of Factory No.1 and equipped with 10 carbonization lines and three activation furnaces. It is also equipped with comprehensive impregnation and catalytic support equipment.

The two factories collaborate on production, and the laboratories are integrated and relocated to the new plant for shared use.

In 2023

International trade launched

Heycarbons brand logo (BL graphic) was successfully registered, and a professional foreign trade team was established, officially launching the brand’s overseas expansion strategy.

In 2024

US branch established

The US branch agency office was established to better serve the local market.
