Polaris® - Model GTP-199 -High Efficiency Power Direct Vent Gas Water Heater
The ProLine® XE Polaris GTP 199 High Efficiency power direct vent gas water heater is the high performance answer for today’s hot water needs. It can provide endless hot water* and can be used for a combination of domestic hot water and space heating.Featuring a 50-gallon (nominal) tank and a 199,000 BTU natural gas burner, the Polaris GTP-199 power direct vent delivers a Thermal Efficiency of 96% and a recovery rate of 253 gallons per hour. It carries a 10-year limited tank warranty, and meets Ultra-Low NOx emission requirements.
Helical Coil Heat Exchanger
Spiral heat exchanger keeps hot combustion gases in the tank longer to lengthen the heat transfer cycle. It`s positioned in the center of the tank for more even and efficient heat distribution, which saves money on operating costs compared to a standard gas water heater.
