High Precision Aspheric Optical Components

Corning produces reflective and refractive components including aspheres and free-forms. Corning has extensive experience with aspheric fabrication and testing: focal point testing with true conics, reflective null design and fabrication for higher order aspheres, and the use of computer generated holograms (CGH’s). Free-form (*geometries*) — Corning engineers are experienced with producing complex free-form optical surfaces up to ø1 m. Volume Production — Corning has capacity and experience to optimize fabrication processes for volume production requirements.
