TRIOPTICS OptiCentric - High-Precision Centration Test Devices
The OptiCentric® product group represents the global standard for optical centration testing and manual and automated cementing and bonding of lenses and lens assemblies. With its extremely high degree of centration accuracy and integrated operation, OptiCentric® systems are indispensable in modern optics productions. It makes no difference whether the sample has a small or very large diameter, works in the visual or infrared spectral range, or is to be cemented, bonded or just measured: modular OptiCentric® systems permit a wide range of different applications and samples for optimum composition.
1. Precise
With the OptiCentric® absolute accuracy of 0.1 µm can be achieved for the measurement and production of maximum performance optics. The MultiLens® software module also makes quality checks on complex lens assemblies possible.
2. Flexible
Thanks to a comprehensive selection of optics, adaptation to the sample and measuring situation is possible in UV, VIS and IR as well as for spherical, aspherical and cylindrical lenses and lens assemblies in a diameter range from 0.5 mm to 800 mm.
3. Sophisticated
The alignment, cementing and bonding of lens elements in production can take place both manually and automatically. The lens edge or – thanks to the patented OptiCentric® software module SmartAlign – the optical axis of a lens can be used as a reference for alignment.
Fulfillment of all measuring tasks in the area of centration
With their multitude of applications, particularly for the centration testing of individual optical components and lens systems, OptiCentric® systems are used for all the testing steps between the incoming inspection of individual components, assembly support and final inspection. The necessary measuring tasks can be carried out separately from alignment and production processes or in combination with these.
The terms cementing and bonding are not consistently used in optics production. For TRIOPTICS, the following applies:
Cementing using LensAlign…
is the alignment and cementing of single lenses in relation to one another (doublets or higher value bond links) or on a centering arbor. The term cementing is used for the alignment and cementing of lenses to one another. Bonding describes the alignment and cementing of a lens on an arbor. These possibilities are ealized using the LensAlign modules.
Bonding…
is the alignment, arranging and bonding of one or more lenses in one cell.
