ECONWARD BiomakHigh Solids Thermal Hydrolysis Pre-Treatment Technology for Organic Waste

Our unique, patented technology was designed for organic waste treatment. When the waste is received in a treatment plant, our Biomak equipment applies a thermal hydrolysis process using pressure and temperature to change the waste physical and chemical properties. Thus, the Biomak homogenises, hygienises and degrades the organic material delivering an efficient energy and material recycling to produce both a high-quality biogas or a class B compost. Due to physical degradation, the particle size is reduced, providing an optimal separation of non-organic materials.

By chemical degradation, the organic waste is transformed into a new material with multiple potential uses. It is a semicontinuous process, operating in 20-minute sequences, capable of treating 8 tonnes of waste per hour. Under specific and preset conditions, the process seeks to hygienise and homogenise the organic matter.

We significantly improve the performance of a biogas plant, at least doubling the biogas production. We improve the quality of the biogas obtained, with a 67% methane content
