Mature technology for maximum biogas yields
The heart of Thoeni’s wet digestion technology is the TNV Thoeni Wet Digester, which is continuously fed with liquid and solid input materials through a specialized feeding system. Slowly rotating paddle agitators ensure optimal mixing of the substrate, ensuring high biogas yields. An integrated heating system provides ideal conditions for biogas production. The digested substrate is then dewatered and can be used directly as a high-quality fertilizer on agricultural fields.
Slow-running paddle mixers ensure that the viscous substrate in the TNV Digester is mixed efficiently during digestion process. This largely prevents sinking and floating layers, ensures safe operation as well as low maintenance of the TNV digester for many years.
