Cast Wing Valve Protector For ¾” Through 1¼” Valves With Seal Mount. Highfield’s Cast Wing Valve Protectors for gas and water utilities maximize protection for wing-style gas and water service valves. These lock-wing gas valve protectors are manufactured from a high-grade cast steel alloy, fully shrouded for maximum security and plated for protection against the elements.
Highfield’s Cast Wing Valve Protector has been re-engineered for added strength in the field and is stronger than cast wings on water/gas cock valves and competitive sheet metal security devices. Additional advantages include:
- One piece construction for fast installation
- Impervious to hammer blows, sawing & pry bars
- Available with or without die cast seal ferrule option
- Hooded design completely covers & protects valve stem - eliminates “peeling” attempts
- Secures to wing valve with standard length utility barrel lock - no end cap required
