The Process Steps:
1. Inlet Gas Introduction: Acidic gases are introduced into the scrubber through an inlet valve on the buffer tank.
2. Neutralization: The gases pass through a liquid solution in the round flask, typically water or an alkaline agent, that neutralizes the acid.
3. Clean Gas Outlet: The scrubbed, neutralized gas exits through an outlet valve, safe for release.
