KRT - Hose Relining
The hose relining is suitable for the rehabilitation of sewers in the event of static problems, tightness problems or as a corrosion protection measure. For hose relining, a GRP-reinforced carrier material with synthetic resin is used.
Areas of application for hose relining
- Wastewater and cooling water area
- Pipelines nominal width 200 - 1000 mm, pressure pipelines up to PN 10
Advantages of the hose rail
- It is cheaper and faster than relocating the canal
- Less noise and energy consumption
- The hose can absorb both internal pressure and external loads
The development of a seamless pipe liner equipped with UV light curing technology sets a milestone in the trenchless renovation of dilapidated sewers. This UV tube liner technology is now one of the most widely used methods for repairing and renovating sewers.
GRP (glass fiber plastics), resin, additives and UV light technology for curing enable high-quality, fast and sustainable sewer renovation in a closed system. Due to the high mechanical strength, smaller wall thicknesses can be used than with conventional synthetic fiber liners. This not only saves material costs, but also makes installation faster and safer.
Installation The
cable liner is pulled from shaft to shaft into the dilapidated sewer pipe using a cable winch and closed at both ends. The longitudinal reinforcement of the glass fibers prevents the GRP hose liner from overstretching or tearing off.
Curing
by compressed air is drawn up the new "tube in tube" and and positively pressed against the old pipe. At constant internal pressure, a mobile UV light unit is used, which hardens the material at high speed. A camera, temperature and pressure sensors monitor and document the entire work process.
Final work
With sewer robots, existing house connections within the renovated sewer are milled out and tightly integrated into the system. This sewer rehabilitation process requires around 10 hours of work.
