Installation:
Height from the ground surface to top part of the guard rail should be 0.75+/- 0.02m.
Depth of the installation is more than 1 m.
Materials of the steel guard rails

- Testing on the steel EN 10025
- Steel plates 30mm EN 10025
- Nuts and washers EN 20898-1, EN 3740

Galvanizing of the steel guard rails and poles according to ASTM A123.
Galvanizing surface according to the requirements of the paragraph 9 of AASHTO M180. Zinc coating according to paragraph 6 of AASHTO M 180.
The screws and nuts according to the specification of AASHTO 180.
Steel for making all the parts of the guard rails meet fully AASHTO 180 I Class A, the pole meeting AASHTO M270.
Hot Dip Galvanized finish:
- Galvanizing according to ASTM A123
- Galvanized after all the cuttings & other openings on the steel guard rails are processed.
- Steel guard rails should be made accordingly to the standard paragraph 9 of AASHTO M180l, the quality of the steel should be according to paragraph no. 6 of AASHTO M180.

1. Type 1. Hot dip galvanized 550g/squre m (40 u)
2. Type 2. Hot dip galvanized 1100g/squre m (80 u)
3. Type 3. Hot dip galvanized 1200g/squre m (85 u)
Base metal types:
1. ClassA-1: 2.67mm base metal nominal thickness, steel Grade Q235(equivalent to S235 JR according to DIN EN10025 and Gr.D accoring to ASTM A 283 M)
2. ClsaaA-2:2.67mm base metal nominal thickness, steel Grade Q345(equivalent to S355 JR according to DIN EN 10025 1994 and Gr. 50 345 according to ASTM A 529 M) .
