Additionally, NeenahPure™ and Delpore™ electrostatically charged meltblown media deliver efficiency up to 99.9% with low pressure drops. The Alphastar™ electrostatic media, with its proprietary blend, improves particle capture through electrostatic action. GESSNER also employs activated carbon layers to their filter media to neutralize VOCs and odors. AIR FILTER MEDIA

At GESSNER, we produce meltblown and triboelectric nonwoven media for pocket and pleated filter. With no harmful fiber shedding our media allow for a safe and healthy environment. We offer a broad filter media portfolio according to EN779:2002, EN779:2012, ISO 16890, and ASHRAE. Additionally, filter media are being developed based on individual needs and customer requirements regarding efficiency, energy consumption or filter lifetime.

NONWOVEN WITH NANOFIBER

MecNa™ is our revolutionary air filter media which addresses the common issue of reduced lifespan due to low dust holding capacity in current nanofiber filter media. The uniqueness of MecNa™ is its revolutionary 3D nanofiberstructured media design because unlike continuous electrospun fibers MecNa™ embeds individual nanofibers within the filter media, enhancing both durability and performance.

MELTBLOWN NONWOVEN

Our electrostatically charged NeenahPure™ and Delpore™ meltblown medias can reach efficiencies up to 99.9%. By applying electrostatic charge we can increases the efficiency significantly but still maintain a low pressure drop. We can offer a standard product portfolio but also develop tailor-made media specific to our customers’ needs.

ELECTROSTATIC NONWOVEN

Our Alphastar™ Electrostatic Media boasts performance characteristics. Its proprietary fiber blend is carded and needled into a fully homogenous material, making it an ideal electrostatic media for air filtration. Triboelectric media produces higher efficiency with lower resistance when compared to similar products. This unique electrostatic filter media is designed to capture and maintain particles through electrostatic action which acts like a magnet.

THERMAL-BONDED NONWOVEN

Delpore™ thermo-bonded media is another solution for HVAC filters. Its unique features, such as the ability to offer two cards per line enabling gradient density media, and its carded, through-air bonded nonwoven air filter media, make it an ideal solution in the air filter industry. The use of bicomponent fiber technology further enhances its performance. The high loft media feature ensures effective filtration, and with grades available for MERV 6-10, it caters to a wide range of requirements.

We now offer our Alphastar™ tribo-electic nonwoven and our NeenahPure™ meltblown nonwoven with an activated carbon layer for pleatable and bag filters. These high-efficiency, electrostatic filter media can be developed meeting your individual requirements from high efficiency filtration to standard requirements.

The active carbon layer captures and neutralizes a wide range of impurities, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, and other contaminants. Depending on your needs we develop the activated carbon layers for your application.
