This enables the implementation of advanced safety and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) applications. Compatible with the Vantage Next and Vantage Apex platforms, the Vantage Vector detection sensor includes all the proven benefits of Iteris video detection, including high accuracy, superior reliability, remote video viewing, and pedestrian and bicycle detection. Installation is hassle-free with no trenching or pavement cutting.
The Vantage Vector system provides total dilemma zone coverage by integrating the video field of view with the latest 4D high-definition (HD) radar sensing technology that tracks speed, angle, height and distance for ultimate precision and accurate measurements.
Enriched information includes the number of vehicles plus accurate speed and distance data to be used with user-configurable zones that provide precise outputs to the traffic signal controller.
The Vantage Vector system includes SmartCycle® for bicycle detection and differentiation, and PedTrax® for pedestrian measurement and volume.
The Vantage Vector detection sensor provides robust data and is the ideal detection system for smart mobility applications, automated traffic signal performance measures (ATSPM) software, and adaptive traffic control systems.
