The IVP 250 was designed in response to feedback from industry professionals with requirements for a larger diameter, 250 psi rated insertion valves which is a permanent asset with superior performance and reliability.

The IVP 250 insertion valve solution minimizes disruption while reducing the cost of system maintenance. The IVP 250 insertion valve can be installed into a water main under high pressure, without system shutdown. Built to accommodate 250 psi working pressure, superior engineering improvements were made to provide unparalleled performance when compared to other insertable valves on the market today. An AIS (American Iron and Steel) compliant version is also available. And because this product is a permanent asset, its cost can be depreciated over time.

The insertion of an IVP 250 is accomplished through a single circular hole cut (under full line pressure) into the top of the pipe with no reaming. The IVP 250 permanently remains in the water distribution piping, allowing system repair in the same manner as with any gate valve that would have been originally installed with the water main.
